Simulation Racing

Sim (simulated) racing is the collective term for computer software that attempts to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. Sim racing Allows people to enjoy racing from the comfort of there own homes

To be competitive in sim racing, a driver must understand all aspects of car handling that make real-world racing so difficult, such as threshold braking, how to maintain control of a car as the tires lose traction, and how properly to enter and exit a turn without sacrificing speed. It is this level of difficulty that distinguishes sim racing from "arcade" driving games where real-world variables are taken out of the equation and the principal objective is to create a sense of speed as opposed to a sense of realism.

Who can Do Simulation Racing?

Sim Racing is definatly can be expencive, but I dosen't have to be. You experince simulation racing on Xbox, Playstation and on P.C's. No its not just the newer Consoles. The xbox original from 2001 one can run racing games on a wheel. Although Not so realistic, its somthing. Microsoft, Logitech and thrustmaster produce decent wheel and pedal sets, for resonal prices. But with all that aside, there is definatly reasons to get a more pricy one.

Why would you Buy a more expecive sim?

There is defanatly great reason to spend a bit more on your "sim rig". More expencive sims sets make your racing experiance more realistic. Things like force feeback and 360 rotation in some curcimstances makes the wheel act more like i real one helping you understand the force required to turn a car into corners etc. With more pricy sims,you can enter tordaments for money, which could pay of the price, or even win you a self driven lap in a real mclaren gt4 720
